Regular Hebrew homework is expected to take 20 minutes. If your child is having a hard time completing the allotted homework in a timeframe of 20 minutes, he/she may stop at the 20 minute mark, dividing the time evenly; 10 minutes for reading and 10 minutes for writing .If your child will be taking this permission please make a note of it in his/her homework sheet. On occasion, special projects will be sent home in addition to the regular homework, on these occasions students will be expected to put in extra time. Homework will be checked daily for: completion, your signature, and your childs bedtime. If your child does not return an assignment he/she will need to complete it during recess time. If a student misses more than 3 assignments in a marking period, I will contact you to discuss how we can best support your child. Be a well informed parent, stay up to date with the Kita Bet Rules and Policies.
